Great place. The staff is courteous, skilled and friendly. They know just what to do to assist in getting off of any chemicals /alcohol. Was there for 5 days and the place is very clean. A tv in each room, private rooms, the food could use a bit of improving but its a detox. There r staff members, counselours whom will help if you want it, and map out a treatment plan.

I was there years ago and I throughly enjoyed my stay. I’d give 5 stars but prior to leaving, some expensive belongings that staff had “locked up” were missing. That being said, I called over several weeks and never got my stuff back or reimbursed. Whoever ran it at the time dismissed me every time so I gave up. Also, there a tiny too pushy about aftercare, I always do aftercare but I wasn’t able to do inpatient due to finances and had to do continue work while attending outpatient at night. They tried to shove in patient down my throat but I just told them NO. Besides that the food was excellent I mean we had steak and lobster! The rooms are very very clean and comfortable plus television and personal showers. Once again you have to bring money so you can buy a card to buy calling cards to call home or bring calling cards wirh you! They have a chiropractor, massage therapist and a musical bed that relaxes you. I recently relapsed and tried to get in here but there was a waiting list so I went to sunrise in sterling, NJ. I wish I had gone here but either way I detoxed! I’d highly recommend this place but beg you to leave valuables home. I was dumb to bring in the things I did! However I didn’t expect them to be stolen by staff.

Just completed a 10 day detox at the Tom's River facility. I had been on and abusing various benzos for just under 2 years. It's nice facility, TV's in every room, excellent food and staff was helpful and accommodating.

An amazing place. Only problem I have Is the nurses are absolutely horrible and very rude. They let me go sick. Cause I only went on a two week run and they didn't think I needed subs. Even tho I have a prescription for them. But other than thats it's very laid back place .

I have tried to stop for years but couldn't because of getting sick. I've always thought detox's would help but I'd still be going through it. I finally decided to go and it saves my life. I was never uncomfortable at all. Any withdrawal symptoms you have will be dealt with, you'll never hurt. The staff, food, and rooms are great. TV in the room, you aren't forced to go to groups or meetings if you aren't up to it. I'm so happy that I went and I can live a normal life again. I Was at the Tom's River location in the last month and as for all these other reviews I don't understand how it was unpleasant or people are lying. I went into thinking how much it was gonna suck and it was fantastic. You can go to groups and help yourself to learn and share or hear stories or just read a book. The groups are great though, when I first knew I was going I had no intention of going to any. Then I did just to get out of the room, but as you meet people, and the groups are smaller so it feels more personal and intimate. So I shared and talked and it helped so much, I didn't have to force anything at all. It was a blessing. I'd suggest to any and every one who was scared like me to go here and get your life back. I haven't been this happy in over a decade and if I knew it would have been as easy on me as they made it I would have gone years ago. It was my first and only time and because of them I will never have to go again. Thank you Sunrise, you can add a life you saved to your numbers. I will never be able to repay that as long as I live. I love the staff and done get what the other people are saying. Also I didn't see 1 drug in there so I don't know where that came from either. Maybe years ago but I was there last month and with some shady characters, but not one person said or offered anything and I was pretty close with everyone so if it was around I would have known. You guys are awesome, but you'll never see me again. Thank you for saving me.

Sunrise saved my life. Clean. Comfortable. Caring. Can't say enough good things about Sunrise! If you love some one, they are in good hands here. If you love yourself, you can't do better!

The staff was excellent, the nurses made my detox as comfortable as possible. Facility is super clean. Three group counseling sessions a day with guest speakers and counsellors. Excellent food. Thank you so much for starting me off fresh and motivated to stay clean. Also tvs in rooms!! Bring your own toiletries
